Our Studio

Facilities

Studio equipment includes: electric wheels, kick wheels, gas cone 10 oxidation and reduction kilns, electric kilns for low fire, raku kiln, salt kiln, slab roller, extruders, fully equipped damp and glaze rooms and large work areas.

Classes

Center for Community Arts provides an extensive offering of ceramics arts classes taught by a diverse group of experienced ceramics educators.

Open Studio

In addition to classes, we offer Open Studio time to allow students to practice what they have learned and work on their class projects.

To be eligible to use Open Studio Hours, you must:

  • be enrolled in a regular class
  • and, be enrolled in the Open Studio class

CAG funds financial aid for students.  Apply at the Center for Community Arts website.

There is a substantial discount of 39% for the Open Studio class if you are a CAG member.

* Open Studio will not be available during Master Potter events. Be sure that you are aware of scheduled workshops.
